EDF's CFL Guide
This primer on CFLs that I managed caught a lot of attention
The guide was the most viewed page afer the edf.org home page for several months running in 2006-2007.
Smithsonian magazine called it "the best CFL guide on the Net." (See Richard Conniff, "Let There Be Light [pdf]," May 2007)
Spirit Magazine invited Rowell to be part of its "Expert On" [pdf] series.
